WHO CAN I TALK TO?

What I miss the most(est) about being in a relationship is having someone who is obligated to have long conversations with me; conversations about, well, any and everything.

Ah mean, in real life, who cares about random things like what my colleague said to my other colleague at work today, and how my boss had to intervene, AND how I started to crave amala at 7am, AND what I did to make the MD summon me just as I was about to leave the office, AND how that dude, the weird one from primary school called from out of the blues, AND how I had a flat tire on 3rd Mainland Bridge on my way home and how a nice man helped to change it...

Who cares mehn? Absolutely no one; except a partner who either genuinely cares or would at least sweetly feign interest.

I like to talk about the day and I love to listen too;
I have one or two people around me who I sometimes rant to when the urge gets intense but most of the time, I'm hesitant because I try to be considerate and then they don't talk to me as much as I want, so I just chill sometimes...

Without fail, when I feel an intense urge to talk, God reaches out to me and says: 'why don't you talk to me about it first?' and I reply: 'but you were there when it happened' or 'I want to talk to a real person'. 

My friends, please chat with God! He can see your heart but He still wants you to mention to Him all that is bothering you. The Bible says '...you have not received because you have not asked. Ask, that your joy may be full'.

The devil makes prayer look like hard work so we don't bother to pray, and at other times he guilts us with thoughts of our unrighteousness, hence we become skeptical about the potency of our prayers. 

Trust me, all these tricks are just to hinder us from receiving all that God has in store for us.

God is amazing, He is the silent listener to every conversation, He's a tested Help in times of trouble and He's gotchu, just talk to Him. I understand that there are some prayers you need to say at the top of your voice and with tears, sprinkled with some tongues but hey, I also know that it is at those times that you need such prayers the most that you don't feel like it (devil at work). In those moments when you feel least like 'praying', talk to Him in Jesus name.

No Spoiler Zone! My Hubster cares to tell anyone who cares to listen that he introduced me to the Primetime Emmy Award winning TV Series, The Blacklist.
