I'm sure the ear of the world is full with shouts of #BringBackOurGirls right now as it should be.
About 276 schoolgirls between the ages of 16 and 18
were abducted by the Boko Haram extremists at gunpoint on April 14 from their rooms at the Government
Girls Secondary School in Chibok, Nigeria, where they had been
sleeping and 'nothing' has been heard of them ever since.
And another 8 were abducted yesterday by these same guys o, in that same Borno!
How evil can people make themselves to be? And how nonchalant can some other people be? Yesterday on Twitter, one of those white guys said 'I know now CNN will be all over the Chibok Girls story, well, somebody has to be'. (did you get that?)
It is no longer funny at all and I can't even start to pour out my frustration right now, those who follow me on twitter (@CountessPIA), can bear witness that I've been going on and on about this because I'm first a girl, and then a Nigerian.
There's been a lot a lot of protests, people canvassing for the government to take action and rightly so. I wasn't able to join in any of the protests, so I improvised :). But seriously, after all is said and done, I just hope these girls are reunited with their families in one piece and in no time.
